I always forget to post my own editorial shoots here on the blog.

When we were in Los Angeles shooting the Out Of This World editorial for Fantastics Magazine I attempted to get some behind the scenes photos, but for the most part wound up being too busy.

Anyway, here is a little glimpse at some of the making of the Out Of This World shoot :)

Fabulous Quotes ~ Manolo Blahnik

I adore great quotes.
And I adore Manolo Blahnik.
In the September 2014 issue of Allure Magazine he listed 10 beautiful things a woman should own. Or maybe it was just a list of 10 beautiful things.
Anyway he had some glorious quotes in there.

The first was expected "A high heel transforms you. It changes the way you walk, the way you dress..."

But my favorite was when discussing Hermes bags.
He loves an Hermes Tote that I couldn't find online, but I liked the bag below, The Garden Party Bag $3450.00

And the quote?
"I like all things from Hermes, but the problem is that you have vile celebrities in America wearing a Birkin like it is a trophy. So I like this one that is very simple."

Haha! 

Blurred Lines Video Vixen Emily Ratajkowski For Ocean Drive Magazine

Remember the unbelievably hot girl in Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines video??

Her name is Emily Ratajkowski, and she stars alongside Ben Affleck in Gone Girl, playing the role of his mistress. (Can't you imagine him binge watching the video and demanding "Get me her!"???)

 The Sports Illustrated model takes the cover of the September 2014 issue of Ocean Drive magazine, photographed by Tony Duran.

In the article Emily addresses the controversy surrounding the video "We’re at an interesting time where women have been told to take the pill is cool, to sleep with whomever you want, or wear what you want. But if you’re naked, it can be offensive or sexist in some way. That’s the last step our culture needs to deal with. We have this culture of men, especially, watching pornography, but then offended by a classic nude portrait or photograph, and I’ve never felt that way.”

Emily also talks about living in Miami, how her skin loves the humidity, and how it feels sexy, sultry and dewy.
Isn't she just hot??

Julie Hewett Camelia Oil

I have been crazy about Julie Hewett products since she launched her Noir series of lipsticks and lip pencils,
which must have been 20 years ago by now. I've always thought she makes the most fabulous red lips ever (see my post from years ago about Julie Hewett Red Lips)

Julie has always talked about and used camellia oil in her products.
In fact, I learned about Camellia Oil via Julie Hewett.
And I use her Camellia Lip Balm every night.
Now I'm going to get her Camellia Oil.
