Sicily's beautiful Taormina is a great place for people watching!

I kept an eye out on what the locals were wearing...

Street Cred Capri

Capri is so endleasly elegant.

So long as you get away from the tourist areas.

When the cruise ships unload their voyagers the fashion meter drops to the appalling level.

This time round it was tourist hell, so the sharply dressed were harder to spot, and when you did find them the view would invariably be blocked by a bus tour or another influx of cruisers.

But here is some of what I did see

Flat gold sandals and a romper

She owned it with that lip

Bored at work

More gold sandals

Big hat, flat sandals, cell phone

Beach ready

Waitress chic

I love people watching in Italy, especially seeing what people wear as they go about their daily lives.

Here is some of what I saw on the Amalfi Coast. Italians make everything seem so chic and glamorous.

Whether its simple cottons or more elaborate designs I always believe a girl should be wrapped in beautiful underwear, every day.
Every year when I'm in Florence I stock up at Intimissimi. (I shop them in Paris too, but Florence is my place.) They have the softest, most delicious cottons anywhere.

The Kate Moss Left Breast Coupe

I adore Kate Moss.
She has done some pretty wild and wonderful things in her lifetime,
but this newest one may just be the most outlandish of them all.

To celebrate 25 years of Kate Mayfair restaurant 34 has modeled a champagne coupe on her left breast.

Legend has it that the first champagne coupe ever created was modeled on Marie Antoinette's left breast, and this served as the inspiration for artist Jane McAdam Freud when she designed the Kate Coupe.

And how totally rock n roll is she in those killer gold Jim Morrison pants??? They are so totally her. Totally.

There is a part of me that hopes Johnny Depp goes to 34 and drinks himself halfway into a Kate-Coupe-Champagne-Coma. I just loved those two together, even though it was a lifetime ago...
