Luca Luca Spring 2012 New York Fashion Week

 Luca Luca Spring 2012 Collection

Inspired by a summer cruise on the Mediterranean, Raul Malgoza of Luca Luca showed a more relaxed silhouette than the structured look he is best known for.

Draping, exposed shoulders and bare backs lent a softer, prettier look for spring, accessorized with turbans, sent down the runway with a spectacular fucsia  lip, the collection was bright, vibrant and alive.

Isn't the lip fabulous??

Tadashi Shoji Spring 2012 New York Fashion Week

This has to be the quintessential spring collection.

Tadashi Shoji Spring 2012

Inspired by tulips, from hand painted silk linen to the ethereally draped lace and tulle, this collection was feminine, pretty, and whimsical.

Shoji said he was paying homage to "the enchanting beauty and splendor of the tulip"

Inspired by that particular flower because "it is full of life, incessantly changing and evolving in shape"

Lovely.

Ellis Faas Limited Edition For Fall

Its no secret that I totally obsess about the Ellis Faas makeup line.
The products are amazing. Everything I've tried so far, I have loved. I wear them myself, use them on shoots all the time (perfect for a flawless, dewy complexion) and the clever bullet packaging is a dream to travel with.

So I am totally excited about the new products for fall, which you need to jump on quickly as they are a limited edition.

Milky Eyes E204 is a beautiful deep green then you can wear super sheer, or layer into for bigger, more powerful look.

Ellis Mascara in E401 separates and defines lashes in jet, jet black.

Creamy Lips L102 is a beautiful deep plum that you can blot and turn into a deep moody stain, or wear as a creamy full lip. The deep plum shade makes your teeth look super white!

For a limited time you can get all 3 pieces for $80
Go girl.
(If you're shopping at Ellis Faas make sure you try the concealers - they are beyond, beyond fabulous!)

Lady Gaga Covers Harpers Bazaar October 2011

She's changing it up again!
For the October 2011 Cover of Harpers Bazaar, Lady Gaga decided to go barefaced.
With the help of makeup artist Val Garland, Gaga rocked a paired down, pulled back look, which actually just highlights how beautiful she really is underneath all the crazy looks we're used to seeing her in.

"I don't really view it as natural. Whether I'm wearing lots of makeup or no makeup, I'm still the same person inside"
"Look into the future and enjoy the ride"
Do you ever wonder what the kids that bullied her at school are doing now?
Probably dishes. Or something equally mundane.
I hope they feel it every time they look at her.

Isn't she beautiful?
