Patchwork ~ Numero #142

I missed a day of blogging yesterday,
as I had almost no internet service while
shooting swimwear the past few days
in sunny Southern California.

But now I'm back, and I wanted to show you
this fascinating shoot from France's Numero Magazine.

Sigrid Agren by Sebastian Kim for Numero 142

Photographer Sebastian Kim and stylist
Charles Varenne team up again on this
color infused story. Varenne brilliantly works multiple
vibrant hues, textures, and patterns in a crazy
and inspiring juxtaposition with bold
and fascinating accessories,
choosing from designers including Alexander McQueen,
Zadig and Voltaire, and Hedi Slimane for Saint Laurent.

Hairstylist Rutger and makeup artist Maud Laceppe
complete the look with exquisite restraint.

Geisha Glam ~ Vogue Germany February 2013

Are you kidding me???

FranziGeisha7 Franzi Mueller is Geisha Glam for Vogue Germany February 2013 by Sebastian Kim
Franzi Mueller Geisha Glam, Vogue Germany

How completely inspired and totally out of the box is this??

For the new issue of Vogue Germany
photographer Sebastian Kim
creates a geisha inspired, eastern themed wonderland
in which model Franzi Mueller
reigns supreme.

The scene is almost surreal as Mueller
brings an otherworldly presence to the
brilliant styling of Katie Mossman,
in head pieces and spectacular designs
 from designers including
Alexander McQueen, Prada and Haider Ackermann.

The most riveting component of this highly stylized
and sensational editorial
is the intense eyebrow and immaculate makeup
by Maud Laceppe.
Tuan Ahn Tran's hairstyling adds the perfect finishing touch.

Just brilliant!
